Co-founder and artistic director of The Red Rabbit Project, Charmaine is a vocalist, composer and director whose multi-disciplinary skills have been sought after for dance, theatre, film, circus arts and TV productions.
An award winning composer and vocalist, she has written and performed over thirty soundtracks for productions that have taken her all over the world. She has written music and collaborated with The Cirque du Soleil, Le Théatre Galileo, Les Sept Doigts de la Main, Voxtrot Theatre Co. and Les Gens D’R’. She has also worked for internationally reknowned choreographers and dance companies across Canada, the US and Europe. She has taught and continues teaching Master class workshops in voice and movement across Canada.
She has collaborated with Danse Sauvage (Canada), Risa Steinberg of The Jose Limon Co. (New York), Gerald Casel of the Stephen Petronio Co. (New York), Milton Myers of The Alvin Ailey Co. (New York), Les Ballets du Nord (France), Suzanne Linke (Germany), Angelique Wilkie (Brussels), Vibeke Muaysa (Denmark) and institutes such as Impulstanz in Vienna.

She staged her final part of a triptych, surrounded by a team of Canada's top dancers and award-winning collaborators. Co-produced with Danse Cité, "Terminus" played to sold-out audiences in Montreal. The films from this triptych, directed by Marlene Millar, have been shown at international festivals and on TV Bravo. "Quarantaine 4x4" was also part of an exhibition at the Museum of Illustrators in New York City featuring a retrospective of the work of renowned illustrator Pol Turgeon.
Charmaine has taught and continues to teach voice-movement mastery and directing workshops in North America and Europe (ImpulsTanz in Vienna). She continues to perform as a singer, songwriter and percussionist with her partner Marc-Olivier Vezina.
