Michoue Sylvain is an actress and playwright. Her background includes extensive training in mask and movement for actors coming from the most prestigious organizations. She has written and directed pieces for well known theatre and dance companies, both in Quebec and abroad.

 

Michoue is passionate about teaching. For the past 12 years, she has been unveiling the secrets of movement (physical, acting mask) to students at The National Theatre School of Canada and at the Cirque du Soleil (Elvis, Wintuk, Alegria and main training sessions taking place at the Cirque's headquarters).

 

She also teaches at the Opéra de Montréal, LADMMI (Les Ateliers de Danse Moderne de Montréal), l'Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, the University of Montreal and the Vienna International Dance Festival in Austria. 

 

Needless to say how thrilled the team was when she joined the Red Rabbit Project as a workshop coach back in 2008.
